Meet Cadence

Being the oldest of eleven children and growing up in a large church covenant, birth was a very common happening in my life. Watching my mom labor through the births of my siblings was such a sacred time that I will never forget. I got to witness my first birth when I was 11 years old and even though my desire for birth work didn’t bloom until I was older, I believe that God was planting the seed in my heart even then while getting to partake in such a miracle.

While I am truly humbled to get to pursue my passion for birth work, I know that my ultimate calling is the pursuit of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I am dead in my sin and it’s only by His accomplished work on the cross that I have been saved. Being a believer, I want to share the hope that is alive within me wherever He may decide to lead me. I have been extremely blessed to get to grow up in a Reformed church covenant that loves the Lord and truly cares about one another’s souls. Whatever high or lows I may be going through, I have so many brothers and sisters in the faith that are always there to guide and encourage me through whatever trials I’m facing, while continually pointing me to Christ.

When I’m not at a birth or working with a client, you can always find me spending time with my covenantal family, buried in a book, writing music with my guitar, watching motocross, or training for a Spartan with my friends. There’s never a dull moment when you’re the oldest of eleven kids and a part of a church covenant like mine! I love every minute of it and continue to thank the Lord for the many blessings He has bestowed upon me in this life.
